Worst kept secret ever.
Good bye Dicky.
Cheers
And now he will sit back collect about $100,000 a year paid by The taxpayers. Good thing he gets it as soon as he retires, not like the rest of us who have to wait for our retirement funds.
Nothing bad to say about him.,
but it is probably a good thing he isn’t trying to run again as people want a representaticve that at least lives in their community not 400 miles away.
Don’t let the door hit you on the way out…
“not 400 miles away” Where is his BC residence?
billposer, I heard he is residing in Kelowna.(the Okanagan in any event)…and it is about 440 miles..I have driven it many many times…
bcracer, the distance to Kelowna is correct. I just had no idea he didn’t live around here.
According to Wikipedia, in 2008 he was living in Kelowna but had an apartment in PG on Range Road.
Thank you Dick Harris for all the work you have done for us here. May you have good health and happiness in the years to come.
I find it strange that Brian Skakun is mentioned in this story.
Northern Citizen. Its an election year Strange things happen.
While Brian thanks Harris for Gas Tax Money, etc; he also gets some free coverage.
Harris made the announcement at some sort of shindig for friends, family, and supporters at the White Spot. Brian Skakun may fall into one of those categories, or maybe local VIPs were invited.
I find it strange that Brian is mentioned in any story, and yet it happens again and again. It’s like our own messed up version of where’s Waldo. Can’t imagine a less relevant civic figure.
Sine Nomine: Maybe he’s just more genuinely involved in this community.
Funny how many seem to have a hate-on for Dick Harris, but he’s been around since 1993, and re-elected time and time again by a decisive margin.
