Prince George, B.C. – Work BC’s Find Your Fit Tour has worked its way up to Prince George from the Lower Mainland.

Billed as a key component of the LNG energy seminars going on at the PG Civic Centre, it’s designed for kids grades six and up to help them make informed choices about a future career.

It features a variety of activity stations related to nursing, welding, carpentry and more while also offerings kids the chance to try their hand at different skills.

Organizers say they’ve highlighted occupations where there’s a mismatch between supply and demand.

They say Find Your Fit is part of BC’s Skills for Jobs Blueprint commitment to produce a skilled workforce.

Science World is also present as part of the LNG energy seminar. The event runs today until 9 pm and resumes tomorrow from 7:30 until 3.
