Mackenzie Power Project Undergoing Repairs

Mackenzie, B.C.- The Mackenzie Power Project is not expected to be up and running until late in the first quarter of 2015.
Conifex says the delay is due to a problem that occurred during the 72 hour run test of the project that started on October 11th. The test was stopped at the 24 hour mark when newly installed electrical equipment failed.
Conifex has been working with its contractors and equipment suppliers to make the necessary repairs to the damaged equipment.
Insurance policies will cover much of the costs associated with the repairs and any additional carrying costs incurred because of the delay in starting the commercial operation of the Power Project.
