Mackenzie, B.C.-  The District of Mackenzie has  a new Chief Administrative Officer.

Peter Weeber will be taking over the post that  became available when Mark Fercho made the move to  Jasper Alberta.

Weeber  comes from  the Village of Queen Charlotte where  he had worked with the Council and the Community to  develop and implement strategic plans.

“On behalf of myself and Council, I would like to welcome Peter and his family to Mackenzie and we look forward to a long and beneficial working relationship with him”, said Mayor Stephanie Killam.

Mr. Weeber will start his new position on December 1, 2014.
