Prince George, B.C. – The College of New Caledonia’s annual scrub sale was another success.

CNC nursing instructor Nancy Esopenko organized the event and says $575 was raised bringing the overall total to over $5,300 since the event began back in 2011.

“All the money goes to bursaries for health sciences students. So to date we’ve given out 17 bursaries. This will go towards funding another five or six for this upcoming academic year.”

She says the bursaries make a huge difference in the lives of students and calls the sale a way for health professionals to give back.
