How it gets interesting to see what the PC executive have up their sleeve
Hmmmmm. I thought he was not elegible because of his membership issue???
Yes now lets see what the Conservative party people have up their sleeve
Took out a Conservative membership—now we will see if democratic principles work in this riding to show Shari how the pg locals feel .
So Shari Greene gets pilloried simply because she has chosen to run for the nomination against at least 2 other declared candidates, and this guy comes out of no where, with no track record in anything except knowing how to line his pockets, and you all give him a free pass???
Come on now, lets be at least unbiased enough to investigate this guy’s credentials before crowning him King.
I understand the whole anyone but Shari thing, but be very careful of who you choose to vote for.
For my money the best candidate is Nick Fedorkiw. He has experience at the federal government level, and he isn’t Dick Harris’ hand picked puppet.
Any candidate will be a puppet, or hadn’t you got the memo about the last 8 years with Harper? It boils down to how you feel about the particular puppet and whether or not you like the way it dances.
The thing about this riding is that the person who gets nominated is probably on their way to the golden-plated pension in just 6 years. Not to mention pulling down twice the Mayor’s salary every year before they retire to $100k plus a year. Personally, I don’t really think Mrs. Green deserves that. In fact, if she had ran in this Mayoral race I think it’s pretty safe to say should would have lost to either Hall or Zurowski. I think she would probably take 3rd billing over those two and neither one of them impress me very much.
Sine Nomine. MP’s salaries are $163,000.00 per year. So hardly twice the Mayors salary, which is around $103,00.00.
Those people who wanted to vote Sherri out of office, and were not able to because she did not run, will (if she gets the nomination) vote against her. She could in fact lose in the next Fed election.
NyteHawwk got it right ! Nick Fedorkiw is the answer to this all. Let’s get it right this time. To have a vote you must have a membership with the conservative party of Canada before Nov. 20th. Get in touch with Nick Fedorkiw or sign up online on his website. Nick is solid and has all the tools to represent our community and will be able to carry significant responsibility in the Federal government, he is well experienced at the federal level and in it for the only reason TO DO A GOOD JOB . Let’s send someone we can be proud of.
Having a membership does not guarantee that one will get to exercise their franchise. The folks that call the meeting get to send the invitations. Last spring for the AGM, that was the Green cabal and a lot of members found out about the meeting after it had been called and held.
Many ways to skin a cat!
Be interested in his views of the foreign workers program, and if he has any of them working for him.
