Prince George, BC – The former Commonwealth Health building at the corner of  7th and Quebec in Prince George has a new tenant.

It is now the official  Volunteer Centre for the 2015 Canada Winter Games.

“The Volunteer Centre provides current and interested 2015 Canada Winter Games volunteers with a dedicated space to receive assistance,” says Christine Nicholls, 2015 Canada Winter Games Manager, Volunteer Workforce.

The centre will be available  to Games Volunteers from now until  March of 2015 after the Games  come to a close.

The hours of operation vary depending on the  month, and the Centre will be closed over  Christmas ( 24th to  31st)
“If you have questions about available volunteer opportunities or how to complete your volunteer profile, please drop-in for help” says Nicholls.

From now until  Christmas Eve, the Centre will be open  Monday to Friday from  noon till  8 pm. and  on Saturday  from 10 am to 4 pm.
