Deceased Hunting Guide Identified

Prince George, B.C. – The BC Coroners Service has released the name of the hunting guide who fell from a cliff near Kemano on Monday.
The deceased has been identified as 26 year old Jeffery Allan Wayne Ripley of Lethbridge, Alberta.
He was guiding a party of hunters on a hunting trip on a remote mountain about one hour from Kemano.
About 4 pm, he lost his footing and fell over a cliff estimated to be 100 metres high.
He was deceased at the scene.
His body was recovered the next day by the crew of a Royal Canadian Air Force search-and-rescue helicopter.
The BC Coroners Service and RCMP continue to investigate.
