Time Will Tell says Zurowski

Prince George, B.C. – The Don Zurowski campaign is hunkered down at the Ramada Hotel awaiting the initial vote results to be released.
Zurowski says he feels he and his team ran a good campaign and that “it’s up to the electorate to decide.”
Early indications suggest a higher voter turnout then in 2011 but admits he’s not sure if it will help or hurt him.
“I think a lot of the voter turnout is motivated by the fluoridation issue.”
Asked if he ran the best campaign he could he says ,”if I win yes, if I’m not there are people that thought I should have been more inclined to take the gloves off.,”

Don blew it. This was his election to win if he took the voter seriously and didn’t run a campaign as if he simply had to put his name forward and win based on his past legacy as a councilor.
His platform was pathetic in its lack of details and grand assumptions… I’m sure his campaign plan would have got a fail from the old Don Zurowski of the Community Futures days… had it come across his desk as a business plan. He got a lot of mileage from his name recognition and past accomplishments… any other candidate with a campaign like his would have been laughed out of town. I expected better from him.
Maybe for the better he didn’t get elected though as he looked to be running on an open mandate with a blank check and PG needs open accountability at this time….
