Prince George, B.C. – Once the dust had settled on the mayoralty race in Prince George, second-place finisher Don Zurowski made his way to the Lyn Hall headquarters to pass on his congratulations.

In brief comments afterward Zurowski noted that he’s fought five election campaigns, winning three, losing two “and I much prefer winning, but it is what it is, the electorate decided right, it’s democracy.” Asked whether he would have done anything different in his campaign Zurowski says “well when you win an election you’ve done everything perfect, when you ah, when you don’t win there’s lots of things I could have done differently. I could have taken the gloves off more, I was competing with an incumbent. But I live on the high road, I want to bring my community up not down so that’s the approach I take. Will I personally regret that? No. May my team regret that I didn’t take the gloves off? Maybe.” Asked whether both campaigns didn’t take the high road, Zurowski responded “yes.”

As for his future he says “life goes on. Tomorrow morning I’ll get up, I’ll have a coffee, probably exercise and enjoy my family. Monday morning I’ll go to work.”

Thankyou Don for keeping it all clean.

We thought you would have made a great Mayor, the choice was hard for people you both are good guys, hope you will keep working to make P.G. a better place to live as we all should.

I think the using 15 year old girls as pawns hurt him a lot more than he thinks. Does that mean gus will be back now?

Goes to show the best man won . Yes and there was little coverage on BC 1 news last night for PG . I wonder why ???

BC 1, crap is worse than Global BC itself lol since they hardly had any coverage at 11 pm. Prince George has its own TV station which had its own results show. No point in competition between Global and CKPG during election time.

He says on Monday he will go back to work. Where does he work??? Prince George, or Vancouver??
