Well that makes me want to go shopping downtown.

Both incidents happened a long ways from downtown- one at 4:30 AM and the other at 6:30 AM.

Some people have nothing better to do. Maybe they could get jobs just like everybody else

Why get a job when you can get a bed, hot meals, clothing and groceries from any one of several “outreach facilities” in the city. What has to happen is the RCMP need to start “jacking” these folks up who wander the streets in the wee hours. There is no reason for them to be out and about at those times (unless they are going to legitimate work). This is why the city has a bad rep, until more folks become proactive, this will continue.

Halloween night, lots of school age kids walking around Oct 31/Nov 1 into the wee hours of the morning. 1500 Queensway is behind the motel and Friendship Lodge so pretty much downtown. Lots of homeless wandering around still at the wee early hours, there is even a guy who sleeps by the little shack on Central across from Husky and packs up around 9 am but leaves the cardboard to blow around he gets from the dumpsters to lay on.

Quick, what’s the common denominator in all the suspects?

===================
They all live in Canada where CCW is not yet legal!

Professional, you have zero clue about what you’re talking about. Seriously… read a little, and take a look around this city.
Meanwhile, if you’re lurking around the 1500 block Queensway at 4:30 am, it’s fairly likely it’s for something Crack related.

Hey Professional, you seriously DO know what you’re talking about and I agree, nothing wrong with rousting and routine searches,(you know, get rid of the knife, the spray, the gun) maybe they’ll like VCP a lot better.

Last thing we need in Canada is concealed carry, a nutjob with anger management issues might let the lead fly for simple traffic things like pulling up to close,in his mind, to a bike at a light or failing to dim lights within 10km of the guy with heat on the hip.
