Benevides Fired

Vancouver, B.C. – The B.C. Lions have parted ways with head coach Mike Benevides.

The action  comes in the wake of the Lions  embarrassing 50 – 17 loss to Montreal  on Sunday in the Eastern conference semi-final.

Benevides had been  coach for three seasons, taking over the reins from Wally Buono.

He never was a coaches coach , he was a players coach and that means he was never in charge . Goodbye now the Lions can get going again
