May Be a New Spark for Northern Lights Display
Prince George, B.C.- Earlier this month 250News told you how the Northern Lights display that has been shimmering atop Connaught Hill through the Christmas season over the past few years, had been cancelled. City staff are just too busy working on the Canada Winter Games to assist in setting up the display.
Well, there is a chance those lights will shine after all.The Railway and Forestry Museum is looking to move some, if not all, of that display to the Museum’s River Road property.
While the light displays are being made available, the work to set it up will have to come from volunteers in the community.
Museum Executive Director Ranjit Gill has put out a call for folks to help the Museum set up the display in just a few days, a project that normally takes city crews weeks to complete.
Gill is counting on local volunteers to show up this Saturday at 10 a.m. to lend a hand in setting up as much of the display as possible.
