Tree of Lights Luncheon Needs You
Prince George, B.C.- The Salvation Army is counting on the community to buy a ticket to the Tree of Lights Luncheon that will take place at the Coast Inn of the North on December 5th.
The luncheon is a fundraising event made possible through the collaborative donations of the Coast Inn, which provides the staff and the space, and SaveOn Foods, which provides the food for the event.
“Every penny from every ticket sold goes directly to the Salvation Army’s Christmas fund raising initiative” says Salvation Army Business Manager Bill Glasgow.
This is the third year for the luncheon, and the menu is sure to tempt any palate.
Traditional turkey with stuffing, roast pig, prawns sautéed in garlic butter, salmon en Croute, roast baron of beef au jus and salads, sides and of course, dessert are all available at this special event.
With just 300 tickets available, the luncheon has the potential to pump $9,000 into the Salvation Army’s programs.
Tickets are $30 dollars each and are available at SaveOn food stores in Prince George, as well as the Coast Inn of the North.

Too bad it wasn’t on the weekend. Most of us work & can’t take that much time for lunch.
