Prince George, B.C. – More traffic woes along Highway 16.

The latest involves a vehicle collision at Fraser Lake which has closed traffic in both directions.

According to the Drive BC website a detour is in place and both lanes are expected to reopen by 6:00 p.m.

This after a single vehicle crash this morning claimed the life of an 18 year old man on Highway 16 near Burns Lake.

That crash, which occurred just before 6:00 a.m. about 20 km east of town, has closed the road for several hours as RCMP collision reconstructionists comb the scene.
