Good job

Its amazing people still drink and drive,a cab is so much cheaper.

Yah, but when yer drunk………..

Lots of people driving over the limit after a xmas party etc; Its easy to get caught up in the party, and then take a chance to get home.

I think some people need to keep in mind that driving over .05 or between .05 and .08 does not mean that you are impaired, To be charged with impaired driving you would have to be over .08. These other charges are more misdemeanors than anything.

I suspect that some of the 90 day suspensions and 30 day vehicle impounds were actually over .08 however the police chose the suspension over charging them with impaired driving.

This is what is called roadside justice, and while it seems ok on the surface, in fact it bastardizes our justice system. Not necessarily a good idea to give the police discretionary powers.

There is no way you’re going to convince people who have lost loved ones to a drunk that this bastardizes the justice system, and it doesn’t do that. It takes guilty fools who decided to drink and drive off the road, and you know what? I’m good with that.
