Prince George, B.C. – A soccer field full of screaming kids welcomed Santa Claus to Westwood Elementary School this afternoon.
He was dropped off free of charge by Aberdeen Helicopters said Westwood community coordinator Erica Mclean.
“We are so grateful. We cannot explain how important this is and how special this is for our students.”
She says the school plans to honour Aberdeen at the end of the school year by making them friends of Westwood.
As for Santa himself he says it was an ideal day for a visit.
“It was excellent. It was a perfect day for flying. I had to leave Rudolph and Dasher and Dancer back at the North Pole so this was a lot quicker today. So Merry Christmas and a happy New Year.”
