Prince George, B.C. – Police have several suspects in custody in connection with a double homicide in Anahim Lake late last night.

Corporal Dave Tyreman with North District RCMP says that police in Anahim Lake received a call at 11:53 pm Friday, indicating that shots had been fired at a rural residence in the 2100 block of Dorsey Road. Responding officers found two men, aged 22 and 23 years, dead at the scene.

Additional resources were brought in from Bella Coola, Alexis Creek, North District Major Crime Unit and the Emergency Response Team. Cpl Tyreman says that at 9:30 this morning several suspects were taken into custody without incident. Police say all parties involved are believed known to each other.

The investigation is in its preliminary stages and no further information regarding the deaths is available at this time.
