Prince George, B.C.  – A Fraser Lake man is facing several charges  stemming from a crash  last January that  left one person dead and another injured.

The collision happened on January 17th  of 2014.

On December 22nd,  an information was sworn charging Christopher McGuiney  with the following 6 Criminal Code charges:

-Dangerous Driving Causing Death

-Impaired Driving Causing Death

-Causing an Accident Resulting in Death

-Dangerous Driving Causing Bodily Harm

-Impaired Driving Causing Bodily Harm

-Causing an Accident Resulting in Bodily Harm

An unendorsed warrant was issued for McGuiney  and he was subsequently arrested on December 29th, 2014 by Vanderhoof RCMP Traffic members. A Bail hearing was held and McGuiney was released on a $2500 recognizance with a

number of conditions – including not to operate or be found in the driver’s seat of a vehicle.
