Prince George, B.C.- 2015 is off to a rocky weather start with snowfall and freezing rain warnings for the Prince George area.
A Pacific frontal system is to move across the region today and tonight bringing with it lots of snow, 15-25 centimeters by tomorrow morning.
If that’s not all, there is a threat of freezing rain in the western reaches of Prince George and the Cariboo, making roads, walkways, and parking lots slippery and dangerous. Ice build up could reach 2 mm.

Got a feeling this may turn in to a silver thaw with the rain freezing on the branches, it sure looks like it’s gonna happen. More common in the lower mainland, but the damage it does to hydro lines, well, there could be a whole lot of people without power if it happens. Hope it don’t.
