UHNBC Welcomes First Baby of 2015

Prince George, B.C.- The first baby to be born at the University Hospital of Northern B.C. is a boy.
Jack August Simmons was born on January 1 at 8:50 p.m. local time to mom Jennifer Lestage and dad Tim Simmons of Prince George weighing in at 7 pounds, 1 ounce.
Jack was also welcomed by big brother Lincoln.
The first baby born in the Northern Health region was also a boy, delivered at Fort St. John Hospital at 12:52 a.m. on January 1, 2015.
And the first baby born in B.C. was a boy, born at the Peace Arch Hospital in White Rock just seconds after midnight.
