Winter Storm Watch Cancelled

Prince George, B.C. – Environment Canada has cancelled its winter storm watch.
It was issued earlier this weekend and predicted heavy snowfall and frigid temperatures tomorrow through Monday.
Despite the change it’s still a chilly minus 17 outside – minus 29 once you factor in the wind chill – with the risk of frostbite.
With the wind chill lows are expected to reach minus 33 tomorrow.
On top of that forecaster John McIntyre says the Prince George region could face heavy snowfall by early next week.
“It looks like the more signficant system is going to come into the Prince George region Monday, Monday night and Tuesday. By Monday and Tuesday you’re probably going to see a snowfall warning.”

Weatherman/ meteorologist have great jobs.. Guess at what the weather will be,, if they are wrong so what,
Question of the day, can a weather person ever get fired for being wrong with their forecasts?
Weathermen are taught to avoid a 50% chance of any weather event because the public will see this as them flipping a coin to get the forecast.
It was just a watch anyway. You know just watch for weather changes.. if the storm was moving in our direction we’d be in the same boat as those an 1 1/2 hours away, in Quesnel. They have a warning. Sadly just flurries now for us but who knows right, it could shift suddenly North. I don’t mind having dumps of snow lol.
Look at the weather maps and a continuing evolving change can be seen.
50% accurate would be at or slightly above average efficiency for a federal civil service worker and the guy that flips the coin(HT* technician) is two pay grades lower.
HT-Heads or Tails
So criticize weather forecasts but believe AGW.
Idiots keep trying to worry people with these fake little storm warnings.
