Blowing Snow Prompts Travel Advisories in Northern B.C.

Prince George, B.C. – DriveBC is reporting challenging driving conditions along northern highways.

It includes limited visibility with blowing snow in both directions from Six Mile brakecheck, 10 kilometers east of Topley to Burns Lake and from Burns Lake to the top of Priestly Hill.

The same conditions exist along Highway 35 from Francois Lake to the junction with Highway 16 in Burns Lake and in both directions along Highway 118 from the junction with Highway 16 at Topley to Granisle.

Earlier today Staff Sergeant Pat McTiernan with the North District RCMP shared some driving tips for those headed out on area highways.
