Wow, it so happy for him and his family
I’m so happy for all the people they won’t have to track down that came in contact with this person! Wouldn’t you think that it would be a better idea to check for Ebola BEFORE he came back to Canada? Oh yeah I forgot about people’s rights!
Didn’t we kind of know this would be happening? He was interviewed before he left and said he’d quarantine and get tested on his return. I don’t think we need to be worried here…
Responsible guy going the extra step … speaks volumes about his commitment to professionalism and community
Another tax payer funded public relations scam. If he really cared about himself and his family he never would have gone over to that hell hole in the first place. But, he got a ton of air miles…
Another putz, that could have put a lot of people in jeopardy here.
It really does make sense to do the testing and monitoring BEFORE boarding a plane. Who thinks of these protocols, anyways?
Nobody was in jeopardy. How many people have contracted Ebola in the US? A handful. How many died? Just the guy who didn’t have prompt medical care/access to blood products from a survivor. Mountains out of mole hills.
“Another putz, that could have put a lot of people in jeopardy here.”
You gusy should check the 02 levels inside your plastic bubbles becasuse your not thinking..How about we cancell all research and development on disease control and see how far that gets us. Then the survivors can sit back and bitch on 250 news that no one is doing anything. The very fact that we have people from this country going over and doing research development and control shows the quality of the system we have in place here. In this part of the world we have the intellectuall freedom to promote ideas that can change complex problems. You have to consider as well medical and scientific research up until about 150 years ago was prohibited by monarchy and religous institutions in most parts of the world. This is still the case in some parts of the world which is why disease and 3rd world conditions still exsist.
The other media outlet in town does have a more in depth article of what the Dr was doing.

Ummm, those would be the scientists, doctors and infection control specialists who actually study and understand what needs to be done in order to minimize the risk of an Ebola outbreak in Canada.
Their expertise differs just a wee bit from your typical O250 blogger.
