Homeowner Helps Thwart Attempted ATV Theft
Quesnel, B.C. – A homeowner in Quesnel helped thwart the attempted theft of his ATV late Saturday night.
This after he interrupted the suspects at his home in the 2300 block of Symington Road and called the Quesnel RCMP.
Officers later located a vehicle with the suspects inside on Plywood Road, where the driver failed to stop for police.
Mounties followed the vehicle until it got stuck on a side road where the three suspects fled into the nearby bushes.
A police service dog, and ERT trained officers were called in to assist in the search and within hours three suspects, a 33 & 26 year old man, and a 26 year old female were in police custody.
The trio appeared before a Justice of the Peace and have been remanded in custody to appear in Quesnel Provincial Court tomorrow.

a Justice of the Peace remanded them in custody , must be a new Judge in town, the regular one would have apologized and call them a taxi for a ride back to a bar
Probably judicial JP in Burnaby, they may have breached bail, probation etc., remand, let the judge decide.
Let the judge decide you say Grizzly2, wasn’t a Burnaby JP who set Allan Dwayne Schoenborn loose in Merritt.

Fur, thanks for the link. A lot of people get released that should never be released, like OROS who killed a buddy of mine on Teslin Lake in 85.
Lawyers do a great job of applying for the release of the wrong people back in to the community.
It’s sickening, but Trudeau just had to set up a catch and release program so many years ago that’s hurting us to this day.
You have to love these people who run into the bush when there’s snow on the ground! Never heard of one getting too far.
