Good job yet again. These people are such an asset to our community

Yeah that is awesome. Haven’t heard much about H.E.R.O.S helicopter ambulance service in awhile? Is this still a go or a pipe dream?

Funny, I thought they had ski patrol on all these mountains for such incidents.

Read give more read. They were cross country sking on cross country ski trails not downhill sking! ;)

They always had ski patrol there many years ago , seems that PG has little to nothing left anymore .

Otway Nordic centre has ski patrol for lessons and events. Tabor ski hill has ski patrol when open. The tabor x country trails are essentially back country. Canadian ski patrol in this area does not provide coverage. Also it’s a volunteer organization that most of its funding comes from the dues of its volunteer members so bit much to expect them to be every where. Thankfully we have PGSAR to fill in the many gaps in rescue coverage.

Kudos to PGSAR in this instance, and to all rescue volunteers in general.
metalman.

Thankyou PGSAR you folks do it for nothing, but that’s what makes you very special.
