Market Expansion Forum Kicks Off Eventful Week
Prince George, B.C. – Initiatives Prince George’s annual market expansion forum at the Ramada Hotel is proving to be another success.
“I’m very pleased with the attendance, we have more than 140 Prince George businesses and regional businesses in the room, which is a complete sell-out,” says CEO Heather Oland.
“Fabulous information is available for the supply chain to be talking directly to the major project proponents so that they can understand how they can be project ready and capitalize on the economic opportunities.”
She says the forum was purposely scheduled on the eve of the Premier’s BC Natural Resource Forum.
“We deliberately plan the market expansion forum for the day before the natural resource forum because all the major proponents are in Prince George anyway. So it’s a great way to have some synergy and be respectful of people’s time.”
Stewart Muir, executive director of Vancouver based company Resource Works, provided today’s keynote speech.

Would be nice to see what we get for our money from this. Seems like a huge waste of money, what new business have they brought to town, and at what cost to the tax payers.
Was starting to think everyone on this site went to it for no comments made and figured thats why it was soo successful…
Looks like a packed house alright.
Can there be some I dependant iversight on ipg please?
All we get is heather telling us how great they are doing.
Can we have a picture of the full house please?
