Not sure what’s stupider. The cartoon or the guy that drew it.

Must be a slow day at Atrizans.com

I’d say the guy depicted is the stupider one because that’s the guy who would have us believe that one of the beheaders is more honourable than the other .

Rather biased considering all the other countries that deal with the despots. Think the other parties would be any better?

Those that oppose the east flow of the pipeline and keystone would rather buy conflict oil. The artist is most likely some simple idiot.

All he/she is saying Harper is a jerk and that’s not difficult to understand.
Cheers

Leaving out all the others. 250 news is getting quite a political bend.

I think the cartoon is pointing out the irony in how we take moral positions against some places in the world, while at the same time, befriending other places who act in many similar ways to the nations that we are taking the moral stance against. Quite simply, we have no problem being completely hypocritical if it suits us.

I’m not sure what that says about our character and that of other countries who also act this way, but I do wonder what the world would be like if we had more collective integrity with how we conducted ourselves in the global sphere.

Well then why not mention past Liberal relations with Saudi Arabia. I think its more about anti Harper crowd starting to panic since he is leading the poles.

Yes the world is full of many ironies. We also do business with China and Cuba. Both countries known for human rights abuses. This has gone on for a lot longer than Harper has been PM. Since Canada has enough oil to supply itself, and we export most, I find it hard to swallow the theme of this cartoon that suggests we suck up for cheap oil.

Not to mention that crude oil is sold on the market at a price set by the market. Now if you really want to pick on a target why not the consumers in the western world? It is because of us and our desire for cheap disposable products that people are essentially slaves in factories in developing countries.

So the next time you want to criticize maybe think twice about buying that new iPhone when your current one is a year old.

What’s all this “we”, “us’, “our’ BS? You want to be associated with all the BS our leaders bring to the people of this planet, be my guest. Just don’t include others that you don’t know in your list of morons!

Clearly the theme of this cartoon could just as easily be applied to Harper and his stance on Israel and their war on Gaza and support of isis, or we could look at Baird meeting the leaders of Kiev today and not a word from Baird about Kiev bombing a bus in Donestk killing a dozen civilians and injuring dozens of others.

Why does Kiev get a pass and Canadian support for their bombing of civilians and the atrocities carried out by their fascist mercenaries bent on ethnically cleansing Eastern Ukraine of Russian speaking peoples? I thought Canada stood for protecting civilian populations from war and against ethnic cleansing?

What about Canada’s foreign minister in Israel the other day calling Israel Caanda’s greatest ally on the same day Israel was bombing Hezbollah for getting the upper hand on isis in the Golan Heights? So Canada is at war with isis, but Israel is bombing to protect their supply lines to isis and providing medical treatment to their fighters?

Hypocritical is a Harper trademark when it comes to Harpers geopolitical positions he takes on behalf of Canada. Canadian foreign policy is no longer balanced based on a set of moral values, human dignity, and upholding the rule of law principles as a basis for Canadian support… now under Harper anything goes so long as they are online for the globalist bankster agenda.
