Prince George, B.C. – Prince George Search & Rescue assisted an injured snowmobiler this afternoon.
According to search manager Dale Bull, the rescue call came in via satellite phone at around 1:00 p.m. from a group of snowmobilers in the mountains northeast of town.
The man, in his mid-forties, suffered a severe laceration to his leg.
Bull says two members of his rescue team flew to the site with the help of Yellowhead Helicopters and evacuated the man to a waiting ambulance in Prince George.
