Guns and Drug Probe Continues
Prince George, B.C. – Two men from fort St. John remain the subject of an investigation into stolen guns, stolen property , drugs and cash.
Last Thursday evening ( January 22nd) Prince George RCMP were tipped off that a man with an outstanding arrest warrant was at a local motel.
Police attended the motel and a 19 year old male was located and arrested on the warrant. A second male, 29 years old, was also in the motel room.
A search warrant led police to the recovery of 3 handguns reported stolen from Abbotsford last fall. Police also found crack cocaine and ecstasy along with a l;arge sum of money.
A search of the vehicle linked to the men revealed a number of items believed to have been stolen in Fort St. John. Although the vehicle is registered to a female in Abbotsford, it was not stolen.
19 year old Trevor Christopher Loe, and 29 year old Dominik Teale, both from Fort St. John are facing the following charges:
- Possession of a Restricted Firearm with Ammunition (3 counts)
- Possession of a Controlled Substance for the Purpose of Trafficking
- Possession of Property Obtained by Crime
Loe has been remanded in custody at least until his next court appearance scheduled for tomorrow. Teale has been remanded in custody at least until his next court appearance scheduled for February 4th, 2015.
This investigation is continuing.
