“The investigation into the disappearance of Jordan McLeod has extended into three different communities and involved more than 100 police officers and dozens of others since it began last week,” says Prince George RCMP Corporal Craig Douglass.

“Police are treating the investigation as a homicide, despite the fact that a body has not been found.”

He adds police believe the 2006 Chevy burgundy/red Malibu Jordan was driving (BC licence plate number 163 RNA with decal reading Quality Assured Collision) at the time of his disappearance is an important piece of evidence and is appealing to the public for more information.

“Officers are asking anyone that has the occasion to travel on rural roads including forest service roads, to report anything suspicious that you may have noticed in the last two weeks.”

Douglass says police believe the car is likely in a remote area near Vanderhoof but are open to other possibilities.
