Prince George, B.C. – Canada Winter Games CEO Stu Ballantyne addressed the Prince George School Board last night.

He was there to thank the Board for all its support the past three years.

“Spring break is he greatest gift you’ve given us,” said Ballantyne (which will run February 16-27).

He also highlighted the other ways in which the board has assisted the games:

The use of Duchess Park Secondary for wheelchair basketball and table tennis.
The use of Prince George Secondary for the week one and week two athlete dances.
The use of the warehouse space on Winnipeg for athlete food distribution.
The use of select grandstands for venue fit out from Kelly Road and John McInnis.
