Blackburn Incident a Targeted Attack
Prince George, B.C.- RCMP say the break and enter at a Blackburn road residence this morning was a home invasion.
.At about 8:36 this morning Prince George RCMP received a report of Break & Enter in progress at a residence on Blackburn Road, on the eastern edge of the City of Prince George.
Officers attended the scene. Indications are that multiple persons targeted this residence on Blackburn Road to conduct a Home Invasion Robbery.
It is believed that approximately six masked suspects assaulted an adult male resident of the home. The victim was able to defend himself, injuring at least two of his attackers.
The victim was treated at the scene by the BC Ambulance Service and released.
Two suspects, one male and one female, were arrested at the scene and transported to the University Hospital of Northern BC for treatment of non-life threatening injuries.
The remaining suspects fled the scene in a stolen Ford F-150 pick-up truck.
At approximately 10:30 am, the Prince George RCMP located the stolen vehicle in alley between Norwood Street and Oak Street in the City. Police believe that a number of items, including a rifle, were stolen during this violent crime.
Police are requesting the public’s help on locating the remaining suspects. The suspects may be dangerous and should not be approached. If you locate the suspects call 9-1-1 immediately.
