I have supported the CWG, because it was a good idea for the economy. I now can support the CWG, because it is fun.

We attended the short track, try to attend the biatholon showed up about 1/2 hr late. Lots of good women’s hockey. They are good and fast. Teams to watch, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, Ontario and Quebec. That is a fast action game. If you see any of these team up, your in for a treat.

The volunteers are doing a stand up job, hats off to you guys and gals. friendly and helpful.

I have come to conclusion, that CWG is not going to make money on ticket sales. they would have needed to make the money long before the event started. the ticket sales and the apparel sales is just icing on the cake.

We spent all day yesterday watching the 1500 M Short Track Speed skating. we sat beside a gentleman from Quebec City who was watching his son compete. He answered every question we had about the sport. Other parents of the Quebec team sat around us, and we had a wonderful time. There were parents from Alberta, BC, and New Brunswick there, too.

AT the end of the day, our New Friend watched his son win the 1500M. Well done Atoine Roy, and to Mr. Roy and all of the other parents, it was a pleasure meeting you!

Went down to the plaza Saturday and Sunday evening and listen to the music. There are some very good musicians in this town playing for free. Alan Doyle especially had everyone jumping and clapping last night. It is a great place to be. I encourage everyone to go down and take it the festivities.
