Armed Robbery Suspect Arrested
Quesnel, B.C. – A 20 year old female has been arrested and faces charges related to two armed hold ups in that community over the past 24 hours.RCMP were first called to a convenience store on Anderson Drive around 1:00 this morning after a lone female , brandishing a knife, had robber the store of a small amount of cash.
The suspect had fled the scene, and although a search was launched, the suspect was not located.
Then, not less than two hours later, RCMP responded to the same store again, where another robbery had taken place.
At 8:00 this morning members of the RCMP’s General Investigation Section attended a residence on Dougherty Drive in Quesnel where they located and arrested a 20 year old female who is believed to be responsible for both robberies.
RCMP are recommending charges of Robbery and Disguise with Intent against the female.
