Dickson Has Trio of Medals
Prince George, B.C.- Emily Dickson, the Burns Lake born biathlete, now has a medal in each colour from the Canada Winter Games.

She earned a gold medal yesterday in the biathlon 10km pursuit , completing the medal set that started with a bronze, then a silver from competitions earlier in the week.
Wednesday was a great day for Prince George athletes, as Carolina Hiller of Prince George and her team mates on the female speed skating team took silver in the women’s pursuit. It was a bronze medal finish for the team of Tony Proctor of Prince George and Emerie Watson of Quesnel in the compound archery event.
The move to the Pomeroy Sport centre for the Long Track speed skating proved to be golden for two BC speedskaters. Jacob Graham of Dawson Creek won his 500 m race at the oval, where he has skated many times before. Sara Spence of Kamloops also won gold for her top finish in the females 500 m race.
Mel Pemble (Victoria) won silver in the para alpine slalom and Leia Hoot (Kamloops) took silver in the target shooting air rifle event.
