Fireworks Signal End to Day 9

Prince George, B.C. – An explosive fireworks display signalled the end to day 9 of the Canada Winter Games in Prince George this evening.

They followed a performance by Tanya Tagaq at the BCLC Centre Stage in Canada Games Plaza.

Not to worry if you missed tonight’s display as they will continue nightly until the Games conclude next weekend.

The last performer was hard on the ears and better suited for a rave… better to close out the night on a higher note IMO.

Would be nice if the fireworks were moved to various locations or more centrally located in the city… maybe have them from the Exhibition Grounds say on closing night?
