Prince George, B.C.- The election expenditure details for Council candidates for the City of Prince George are now available.
We have compiled the campaign costs only of those who were successful in their bid, and for interests sake, a look at the final number of votes cast their way as a result of those campaign efforts.

The most interesting thing about that list is that Koehler spent almost as much of his own money as he can expect to earn as a Councillor for a year. Meaning essentially he’ll be working for free the first year. Interesting…

Money spent has little impact on the votes cast. I guess the winner is decided by who works hardest to get elected, although some of the winners used unconventional methods. It is a lesson learned for people who want to spend their way to victory in a civic election in PG
So how much money did the mayor get from unions?
