Prince George, B.C. -Police are appealing to the public to provide information after a 46 year old Prince George man died in hospital following an apparent stabbing earlier this afternoon.

At 3:05 pm on Wednesday March 4^th, 2015, the Prince George RCMP were called to the area of Vancouver Street and 11^th Avenue for a reported stabbing.

The victim of the apparent stabbing was located and transported by the BC Ambulance Service to the University Hospital of Northern BC with life threatening injuries. The man later died in hospital as a result of injuries he sustained.

The Prince George RCMP’s Serious Crime Section have assumed control of the investigation. The person or persons responsible have not yet been located.
