Thursday, March 12, 2015 @ 10:32 AM

Prince George- Three people have been taken into custody in connection with a break and enter in the BCR industrial complex last night.

Police responded to a B&E on Boundary Rd . The report to police indicated that there were several suspects in the area,  all wearing masks.

Police stopped a vehicle in the area, and the three occupants were arrested and taken into custody.

They are a 24 year old male from Grande Prairie, and a 43 year old, and a 23 year old man from Prince George .

They will appear in court today, facing several charges.

Must be like shooting fish in a barrel for the police. It seems the Danson Industrial site has a 3-5am rush hour every morning for local thieves. Most nights usually a RCMP suv lurking around out there as well just waiting for the inevitable. Seem that area at that time attracts would be thieves like a moths to a light.

Not sure what it is like today, but the Carter Light Industrial area was like a magnet for petty thieves from the mid 80’s through to 2005 at least.
We did not see much of a police presence throughout those years, in fact the business owners in the area got together and hired a dedicated security patrol, which eventually devolved to a contract with one of the existing security companies. I think that has gone by the wayside.
