Two Arrested for Quesnel Hold Up
Quesnel, B.C. -It took less than an hour for RCMP in Quesnel to make an arrest in connection with an armed hold up at a pharmacy in QuesnelJust after 2 this afternoon, Quesnel RCMP responded to a report of an armed robbery at a pharmacy in the 300 block of Front Street.
A lone male, wearing a dark hoody and with his face covered entered the store and demanded drugs. The male was brandishing what is believed to a be a can of bear spray.
The male fled the store with a small amount of drugs.
Less than one hour later RCMP located and arrested two suspects , one is a 31 year old male, the other is a 35 year old female. Charges are pending.
Staff Sergeant Steve Vrolyk credits the rapid arrests to “The quick response and coordination by the various units of the Quesnel Detachment, as well as the Cariboo Traffic Services.”
