Prince George, B.C. – The winner of a 2015 Street Glide Special motorcycle in the 2015 Harley Davidson Raffle is, Kevin Girard of Prince George.

His winning ticket #1642 was drawn Saturday afternoon at the Harley Davidson shop on Vance Road.  Actually all three winners drawn in the raffle are from Prince George.  Second prize winner of a $500 certificate at the Harley store, with ticket #773, is Rod Haggarty.   And the third prize winner of a $250 gift certificate is Rob Keddie, who purchased ticket #1615.

The Prince George Fire Fighters raised $70,000 through their participation in theHARLEY WINNER 017 raffle and presented a cheque in that amount to the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation.  The money will go toward the purchase of a Giraffe Omni Bed, which is an incubator and radiant warmer in one.  The bed supplies  advanced technology to provide a developmentally supportive, family-centered critical care environment for high-risk and premature newborns.

This is the 25th year of the raffle and every year it has been sold out prior to the draw.  Spirit of the North has been a partner in the raffle for 18 years in which time more than $710,000 has been raised through the event.

Prince George Fire Fighter and Spirit of the North Board Director Greg Houston (above right) was on hand to place a phone call to the grand prize winner, Kevin Girard.  However the call went to voice mail so Mr. Girard has one upbeat message awaiting him when he checks his calls.
