Power Outage Affects Ten Thousand Customers

Prince George, B.C. – B.C. Hydro reports that approximately 5 thousand of its customers in the Central Interior are without power this afternoon while another 4780 in the Northern region from Vanderhoof to Terrace are experiencing the same problem.

Hydro lists the Prince George areas affected as west of Creekside Way, south of Ospika Boulevard, northeast of Highway 16, west of Highway 97, south of University Way and north-south-east and west of Highway 97.

The remaining outages in the Central Interior are located in the Williams Lake area.

There is no indication when repairs will be completed and power restored.
