Prince George, B.C. – Elections will be the focal point of tonight’s Prince George Chamber of Commerce Annual General Meeting at the Coast Inn of the North.

“It’s actually really exciting, we’ve got six positions for regular directors that are open and we’ve got 12 individuals who are running for those positions,” says CEO Christie Ray.

“And we’ve also got the four executive spots, four individuals running for each of those positions. We’re really excited, no matter who gets in of these 16 people we’re excited to work with some new blood and get new fresh ideas through.”

She says members will also be voting on some by-law changes and discussing the various projects the chamber has been working on.

Ray says there will also be a chance to network for 45 minutes prior to the start of the AGM at 5:45pm.

“We encourage all members to come and be a part of this process. Get the directors in that you’d like to see as part of the chamber representing your business.”
