Williams Lake, B.C. – A 28 year old man will appear in Williams Lake Provincial Court later today in connection with a pair of weekend B & E’s.

Police say it all started Saturday morning when a Quesnel homeowner woke up to find the man going through a purse and fleeing in his Honda Civic.

Police say a bulletin was sent throughout the Cariboo when about two hours later Williams Lake RCMP received a call of a break and enter in progress on the Deep Creek First Nations reserve.

The vehicle of interest matched the one stolen in Quesnel and police were able to arrest the 28 year old man.

Police say the suspect does not have a fixed address but is well known to them.
