Target Set to Shut its Doors

Prince George, B.C. -Today is your last chance for deals at the Prince George Target.
The retail giant will close the last of its B.C. stores today including its Surrey, Nanaimo, and Courtenay locations.
A staff member told 250 News the doors will remain open until 10 tonight although a quick glance inside the store revealed the shelves are almost bare.
The U.S. based company announced in January it would be closing all of its 133 Canadian locations due to economic challenges.
The closures cost 17,600 employees their jobs. No word yet from Pine Centre Mall on what they plan to do with the space.

In reference to the second pic above…. that’s pretty much what a lot of shelves looked like before the closure was announced.
Well.. they could leave the signage up and convert the space into a shooting range?
Somebody please call Cabela’s, huge store potential !!!!
Smoke, have you ever been to a cabela’s? They are (from what I am aware of) never in malls, and are bigger than that space has to offer. Unfortunately, a bed bath and beyond type thing is more likely to set roots there. What a waste of space that would be.
I was hoping for a movie theatre to replace them.
