Cache Creek, BC – The Trans Canada highway has been closed at Cache Creek due to a vehicle incident…

The incident happened early this morning and is affecting the eastbound lanes for motorists travelling from Cache Creek to Kamloops.  No details about the number of vehicles involved are available at this time.

A detour is available to light traffic.  And an alternate route is open via Highway 97C and Highway 5.

Motorists are being advised to check www.drivebc.ca for updates.  The Ministry of Transportation expects to have the route re-opened by 11am.
