Prince George Public Library’s annual book sale 250News archive
Prince George, BC – If yesterday’s on-again, off-again weather has you seeking an escape from the uncertainty, there are some great indoor events to take in…
The Friends of the Library’s annual book sale is on at the Bob Harkins branch. The ‘spring clean’ of old books is a great way to stock up on some good reading for the summer, and raises funds to support library programs and services. Books, magazines, and DVDs are available for purchase by donation. The sale is on from 1pm until 4pm this afternoon.
Another fundraiser that offers lots to look at is the Prince George Hospice Society’s 19th annual Antiques & Collectibles Fair on at the Roll-A-Dome. All of the proceeds from admission at the door goes to support the local society ($4 for adults, $3 for seniors, free for children 12 and under). Vendors travel from across the province and Alberta to display their collectibles at the weekend fair. Doors open at 10am this morning, until 4pm.
