Saturday, April 18, 2015 @ 7:53 PM

Prince George, B.C. – Participants in this year’s Run for Rural Medicine will traverse various routes in the Hart Sunday.

The event is organized by the Prince George Road Runners Club in conjunction with second year UNBC medical students.  Those taking part have a choice of running 5kms, 10kms or going for the 21.1km distance.  There’s also a free fun run for the kids.

The event included a $10 advance fee, $15 if registering on the day of the run.  The money raised goes to a local charitable organization selected by the medical students.

Registrations will be accepted until 8:45 a.m. Sunday.  The event kicks off at 9 a.m. from the Hart Community Centre on west Austin Road.
