Prince George, B.C. – A rash of property thefts is keeping the Prince George RCMP busy.

Corporal Craig Douglass says vehicles have been the prime target in all areas of the city.policecarnew

“In most instances the vehicles that were stolen from were left unlocked and items of value were left in plain view,” says Douglass.

“Ensuring your vehicles are locked and valuables are removed or out of sight will decrease your chance of being a victim of this crime.”

He says stolen items include wallets, cash, electronic devices, purses, drivers licences, sunglasses, gift cards, clothing and diapers.

Anyone with information about these crimes is asked to call police.

I’ll be shootin, shoveling and shutting up!
